Jeff is a 22-year veteran of the Shelby County Clerk’s office. During that time, he worked as the Business Tax Manager and as a Tax Investigator. He knows the Clerks office and how it runs. He will be ready to lead from day one.
Jeff transferred to the Shelby County Trustees office in 2010. While there, he managed the Tax Payment Remittance, Tax Relief/Tax Freeze, and Imaging departments. He was responsible for collecting and processing approximately $800 million in tax payments annually, including payments for the City of Memphis.
With his background in multiple county offices, Jeff will be able to streamline day-to-day operations and bring other efficiencies to the Clerks Office.
